Make Money With Image Hosts - Part 3
By now you should already have a website up and running and know how to get traffic to it. If you don’t go read parts one and two. This part will deal with monetizing your site and giving you tips for when you sell it.
Ad network:
I really recommend adbrite. It is a CPM network which means you get paid per view and not per click, because most people going to your image host are just interested in the picture they probably won’t bother clicking on any adsense ads or anything else. To add the adbrite code to your page all you have to do is edit the page_footer.php and page_header.php files (assuming you are using the script I recommended). Try to make the ads blend in nicely with your site if you can.
Selling:
The two main places you can sell your site are :
- Digital Point - Free
- Site Point- 20$ to list
As you can see, listing your site on Site point costs 20$ so I would recommend trying on digitalpoint at first. If you get a reasonable offer I recommend just taking it. If you think your site is worth atleast 30$ more than what they offered you , then you should go and try and sell it on sitepoint.
