Make Money By Teaching Others How To Make Money

People make money teaching others in real life all the time, so why not replicate it online as well? You can make large amounts of money teaching others, and if you’ll get them to sign up to some programs with you as their referrer you’ll be making even more money.

The first thing you have to do is decide what money making method you’ll be teaching. You should only teach things you have tried your self and have found you are good at.  For example; you could teach them how to flip sites/blogs for profit, how to make money on forums and cpa *wink wink*, how to flip products/ebooks, how to make money on associated content etc.

Another thing to consider when choosing what to teach is how can you make more indirect money, as in money you get from affiliates, etc and not your mentee. For example ; if you were teaching someone how to flip sites/blogs and the person doesn’t have hosting, you can point him over to your HostGator Affiliate link and make an extra 50-125$! If you were teaching how to make money on forums then you could get your mentee to sign up to your affiliate network under you, so you make a percentage of what ever your mentee makes.

After all the preperation is done you have to advertise your mentorship program. The two best places to advertise this offer is on Digital Point and on the Warrior Special Offer forum. The problem with WSO’s is that you have to pay a 20$ listing fee, so if you are just starting out I recommend posting on DP because it is free and you don’t want to lose any money if you fail to get mentees.

In your thread you want to keep everything professional. Don’t make promises you can’t keep, this is very important! Be modest.  List all the ways they will be able to contact you; email, IM, skype?  Include a money back guarentee which states “if you follow my steps don’t make your money back after (x amount of time) then I’ll return the money”, make sure it is quite easy to do this. Don’t over charge people, if people pay you 500$, they will probably have a hard time making that much in a month or so by posting on forums and you’d have to give them the money back.

This method has many variations, for example; you can offer people free mentorship as long as they sign up under you. This will get you more people interested in your offer, but many of them will probably just give up half way, so make sure you are selective if you choose to do it this way.

How To Find DoFollow Blogs With PR

Most people know that a good way to get back links is by commenting on ‘dofollow’ blogs in your niche. The problem is that most people don’t know how to find such blogs. There are many guides all around the place which involve long hours of searching google and manually checking links to see if they are ‘dofollow’ or not.

I don’t like wasting time on such things, and neither should you(time is money), so I use a plug-in for Firefox called SeoQuake . This is an amazing plug-in and will simplify and speed up the process . It will line through all “nofollow” and “noindex” links so you can tell straight away if it is worth your time commenting on the blog or not, it also provides more information about your searches on google/yahoo/msn.

Normally you would search on google for blogs in your niche, check if they had high PR and check if they are ‘dofollow’ . Even with SeoQuake which shows the blogs PR right inside google, you’d still have to check each blog to see if it is ‘dofollow’ or not.  However we’ll be doing it differently.

Find a random blog with PR in your niche and vist it like you normally would, if you are lucky and it is ‘dofollow’ then post a few comments. If it’s not then don’t worry, we’ll find the blogs they commented on to get backlinks and comment there as well. To do this all you have to do is press the “Yahoo LD” button on your SeoToolbar, or you can go to yahoo search and type in :

site:”www.TheSiteYouWantToStealBackLinkLocationsFrom.com”

As long as SeoQuake is enabled, you’ll get a good detialed listing of where they get backlinks from, I recommend sorting them according to pagerank and then visting every blog you see on the list and commenting on it.

Some people say this method is wrong, since you are basically just mooching off other peoples research. But I reckon, why should you reinvent the wheel?

TIP: If blogs have a Top Commentators widget, then you should try and comment until you have enough comments to be in it. This will give you a site-wide backlink and not just one backlink on one blog post.

Hopefully this will save you guys some time next time you decide to comment on blogs to get backlinks to your own blog.

How to make money with CPA and forums

If you are struggling to make money with affiliates then this is a method for you. It is very simple but requires some time each day to make money and gets boring very quickly. I have stopped doing this because I got bored, but for some of you this might be a good way to make a few extra dollars!

There are many forums online that have their own currency or some sort of points system installed. Usually, the points are collected by posting, creating threads, voting in polls, and exchanging them with other members for various tasks, etc.

The basic idea of this tactic is to gather points quickly. You can do that by purchasing points from other members at cheap rates (yup, there are many members willing to sell points for dirt cheap) or posting in the forums. Once you have the points, you offer them to the members of the forum. You present them with a simple task (a Pay Per Lead offer) and once completed, you donate/transfer the points.

Blog Updates

Traffic has steadily rising over the past few days and so has the number of subscribers (16 of yous guys already!). As I was watching the numbers rise, I noticed how bad my blog is. So today I decided it is time to update it and try to make the blog feel a bit better.

The first thing I did was make the blog “dofollow” . This combined with the commentluv plugin I installed a few days ago and the Top Commenters widget will hopefully encourage more people to comment on this blog and make the blog more active!

The second thing I did was add two pages to the blog a contact page and an advertise page. Both are still kind of amateurish but they are better than nothing, or are they?

The third thing I did was replace the default ads that came with this theme, and made them point to the advertising page. I made those little 125×125 banners my self, what do you guys think? I reckon they aren’t to shabby to be honest.

The fourth thing I did was add an OnlyWire(this is a great service, I’ll blog about it in the future) share button, this allows you to submit to a lot of social bookmarking sites with the click of a button. It will also save me time submitting my posts manually.

I also thought about changing the theme of the blog, but decided against it. Now that I’ve finished with all these little time wasting things I’ll have more time to write some good posts about making money. Watch this blog next week, there will be lots of good content… I promise.

Make Money With WordPress Themes

I would just like to say before I start talking about how this method can make you money that I haven’t actually tried this method my self. I just found out about this today and will probably try this next week. However, I have been looking around and I’m 99% sure you will make profit with this method, next week I’ll post some results after I test this.

If you have ever tried to start your own wordpress blog you probably searched around to find a nice theme for it, and if you were just starting out you probably chose a free one. Did you ever think about why there are so many free themes for wordpress? People include links in the footer to gain backlinks, we’ll be making money by selling those links in the footer and the designer link.

The most important and hardest part is finding good themes for a low price, you should check the Template section @ digitalpoint daily because every so often a hidden gem is over looked and you can get really good designs for a low price when people are desperate for money.  Important things to look for when buy the theme are:

  • Price, I recommend getting one for less than 50$, maybe a little bit more if it is really good
  • Widget ready, around 99% of themes now days are, if they one you’re going to buy isn’t then don’t buy it
  • Theme validates ( w3c validator)
  • Theme is generic - try to find generic looking themes, themes which only go with one niche aren’t really a good choice

After you bought your theme head over to link sales section @ DP and start a new thread.  The title of the thread should be something along the lines of :

Sponsor a Perimuim WordPress Theme

The thread should include information about the theme, a screen shot of the theme and a live demo of it. I recommend selling 4 normal links, each for 15$-20$ and 1 designer link for 20-25$ . You should look at some of the other threads on DP to see examples of how people structure their threads, etc. You should also mention that you will submit the theme to 20 or 30 websites/forums (more about this later).

After you sell all the links you will have to edit the footer.php file to add their links, the links will have to be encrypted. If you have really basic knowledge of php/html you’ll be fine, read this tutorial to learn how to encrpyt the links. If you don’t know how to do it then try talking to the guy you bought the theme off, if you’re lucky then he’ll do it for you otherwise just try asking other people on the forum or just ask yours truely :) .

Now that you have the theme ready with all the links encrypted in the footer you can either submit the site manually to 20/30 sites or you can pay dpsubi1 to do it for you, I recommend the later option. After you get dpsubi1’s report just forward it to the link buyers.

The worst possible scenario will go like this:

  • Theme : -50$
  • Links sold:  +80$
  • Paid for theme submissions: -6$

Total : 24$ profit.

Hopefully you’ll get more money for the links and pay less for the theme. If you have any questions feel free to comment, just remember that I have yet to test this my self.

Get more e-book sales

Jason @ TheUnverisityKid.com is giving away a free e-book which contains a complete guide on flipping products. To get the report you’ll have to subscribe to MakeMoneyDynamo.com to get the free report.

While the report is really good and contains lots of good information it only talks about using the WSO forum to generate all your sales. This post will talk about using DealDotCom to get even more sales.

I recommend selling your ebook for atleast 20$ normally and then sell it at a discounted price of 10-15$ on DealDotCom. If you want your product to be featured on DealDotCom as fast as possible then let DealDotCom keep 50% of the profits, this means that you will only get 5-7.5$ per sale, and with 50 sales thats 250-350$ worth of sales. If you are lucky, then you’ll get some affiliates which will start promoting your product and get you more sales. These extra sales could increase your the value of your final site.

Here is the start to finish basic step-by-step summary:

  1. Write an e-book
  2. Make a mini site
  3. Sell the e-book on your blog and WSO forums
  4. Sign up at DealDotCom
  5. Put your e-book up on sale at DealDotCom
  6. Sell your site on SitePoint
  7. Rinse and repeat

If you are to lazy to do this, then you can pass on this information to the new owner.  Just add an extra paragraph which goes something like:

Extra Tips - The winner will get a few tips from me which will help generate a few extra sales. These tips can be applied to any future products you choose to promote as well.

This may or may not increase the amount your site sells for, but it will give more people confidence to bid for your site since they know you won’t just throw them in the dark.

Hopefully this post will help you guys flip your site for a few extra hundred dollars. If you have any questions feel free to comment and I’ll do my best to answer them.

WSO - Selling PLR

Jason over at TheUniversityKid.com made a post about selling stuff on the WSO forum and after reading it I thought about ways of implementing it. After looking around on whats being sold there I noticed that a lot of people are selling PLR articles about hot topics (right now most of them are about Christmas), and the idea immediately struck me… Why not find old PLR articles about Christmas, get people to re-write them and then sell them on the WSO forum.

You can read my previous post about article arbitrage for information about finding plr articles and where to find people willing to re-write the articles. In this case however, you will have to make sure that all the articles are 100% error free. If your English isn’t very good then I recommend getting a ghost writer to fix all the grammar and spelling mistakes which might be in the article.

If you haven’t done so already I recommend checking out Jasons post about WSO to find out some more information about writing the sales thread.

Article Arbitrage

This method is a real easy way to make money which requires little work and investment. The first thing you have to do is to go to AssociatedContent.com and sign up for an account. When signing up you have to check the box which says you are a US resident or citizen (otherwise you won’t be eligible for up-front payments). AC will pay you between 3-5$ per article. To make money with this method you will need a way to get articles for less than that.

You are probably wondering where you will get articles for such a low price, you probably won’t be able to find people to write original articles for that cheap, but you will be able to find people that will re-write articles for that rate.  You can find people that will re-write articles for you at: Digital Point , Black Hat World or GetAFreeLancer . If you choose to use GetAFreeLancer you will have to pay 5$ to list your “project”, so I recommend getting the contact info from as many people as you can and then canceling your project so you get your money back(unethical, but saves you 5$). When choosing a writer ask them for a sample of their work and make sure they are reasonably good.

After you found a good writer you will need articles for them to rewrite. This is where PLR comes in, just search google . Find a few articles which are between 500-600 word long and get them re-written. After you get them back swiftly to make sure there are no blatantly obvious grammar mistakes.

Now just go to AC and publish your article. It is quite a simple process and I don’t think it needs much explanation, just make sure you choose the “Upfront Payment Review” option otherwise you won’t get paid. If you have some extra time you can find an image and add it to the article when prompted, they tend to pay more when you add images.

Hope you enjoyed this post, I’ve been using this method for some time now and already made around 200$ doing this.
